I was skeptical at the beginning. Sweet chickpeas!? Delicious. This hummus has become my everyday breakfast with whole-grain toasted bread and fresh fruit. It takes only a few ingredients and 5 minutes to make. This is the chocolate version, but I recommend to be creative and experiment with peanut butter and chocolate chips, coffee, fruit, pieces of cookies … Follow your sweet tooth and create many healthy high-protein desserts!

Time: 5 minutes
Level: very easy
Ingredients:
- 400g (2 cups) cooked chickpeas
- from 6 to 10 dates
- 1 tbsp hazelnut butter or any other nut/seeds cream
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tsp coconut flour (optional)
- 250ml (1 cup) plant milk
Method:
If your dates are not very soft, soak them in boiling water for half an hour. You can also soak them in the plant milk for the recipe so you won’t waste any bit of sweetness!
Simply blend all the ingredients in a blender or with an immersion blender. Told you it is super quick!
